Although we have a lot to be proud of here in Western New York, our region has affected the progress of music, broadcasting and sports globally. And, that’s the story we’ll tell in the Buffalo Experience. From Grover Washington, Jr. and the Goo Goo Dolls to Wolf Blitzer and Tim Russert and then on to Warren Spahn and Bob Lanier. As a result, our story, our history and legacy in each of these pockets of cultural and artistic endeavors transcends the region and provides the visitor a trip into the past through our proposed interactive museum – a world of imagination, education and a glimpse into how our city has contributed to each of these entertaining and informative aspects of our everyday lives.
We’ll be adding educational programming for children to adults; partnering with other nonprofits and cultural institutions to foster greater tourism to our area and act as both an economic engine and job creator for the best of Buffalo and Western New York’s future.
We’re not saying we can’t add on more collaborations. Just think, for example, what would happen if our grand theater community were to join us along with their legacy actors and producers – Michael Bennett, Christine Baranski, James Whitmore and others. Let us celebrate our regional contributions to the world by showing all our cultural heritage in one special spot – The Buffalo Experience.
Check out the benefits to our community here, along with our video that will provide you with our collective vision, and then ask yourself “Why not Just Build It?”
