Buffalo Sabres

The Buffalo Sabres have a long and accomplished history as they celebrate the teams 40 years in the NHL. The Sabres have a strong fan base and a history that includes two Stanley Cup Finals, six Conference Finals, five Division Championships, the NHL All Star Game and 28 playoff seasons as well as winning the Presidents Trophy with the best regular season record. There history also includes many great players among them, the French Connection, Gilbert Perreault, Rick Martin, Rene Robert, Pat LaFontaine, Dale Hawerchuck, Dominak Hasek, Craig Ramsey, Phil Housley, Danny Gare and Alexander Mogilny.

We want Sabres fans to experience the Sabres as they have not done before. Imagine entering the Sabres locker room while Lindy Ruff gives last minute instructions to his team before the start of game six of the 2006 Eastern Conference Finals versus the Carolina Hurricanes. See the intensity of Ryan Miller, Chris Drury and Daniel Briere as they await this crucial game.

Enter HSBC arena. Feel the excitement and then put on the goalie pads and experience a penalty shot as Ryan Miller would experience it. See if you can make the save. Line up with the French Connection and pass the puck to Gilbert Perreault for a potential goal. Can you shoot the puck past Patrick Roy of the Canadians? Experience it all in “Sabres on Ice”!

Head to the broadcast booth and become Rick Jeaneret. Be the play-by-play announcer for a few moments of intense Sabres Hockey. Invent your own catch phrase! How do you sound? Are you the next great Sabres announcer?

“Relive the Aud”. Watch Memorial Auditorium’s construction as you pour concrete for the footers, help raise the roof to add additional seats to make it NHL ready and ratchet down some of the seats. Then watch and relive the great moments in Sabres history through unique video footage and terrific memorabilia including game programs, pucks, game worn jerseys, game used hockey sticks and a vast array of photos. Then participate as the Aud is torn down. Shed a tear for the grand old arena.

These are the types of experiences we want to bring to life in The Buffalo Entertainment and Sports Experience.
