Buffalo Stallions

The Buffalo Stallions indoor soccer team was a member of the Major Indoor Soccer League from 1979 to 1984. They played their games in Memorial Auditorium. The team made the playoffs in three of their five seasons, but lost each of the playoff series.

The Stallions most notable players were Ian Anderson, Germain Iglesias, Mike Laschev, Ljubo Petrovic and the Pikuzinski brothers, Randy and Rudy.

The team ceased operations in 1984.

Buffalo Blizzard

The Buffalo Blizzard indoor soccer team was a member of the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL) from 1992 through 2001. The Blizzard won two Division Crowns, made eight playoff appearances, but never won a playoff series.

The team’s attendance was always in the top five of the league, except for its last season. The Pikuzinski brothers, Randy and Rudy were the stars of the team.
The NPSL ceased operations in 2001 and the Blizzard folded.
